I put on Tauren Wells’ album because Close was stuck in my head but instead of repeating that song I let the album play.
The song Famous For came on and for whatever reason the chorus really just caught my attention.
It could be because I am currently reading the book of Daniel and just read about Shadrach Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace and Daniel in the lion’s den. But mostly I think it just made me smile at how awesome my Abba is.
He parted the sea so that the Israelites could cross into freedom,
He allowed the three Hebrew boys to be thrown into a furnace set to the highest temperature and they came out not even smelling like smoke.
He let Daniel spend 24 hours in a den of hungry lions and live to tell the story.
He made a valley of skeletons into an army of men.
He came to earth as a baby boy through a virgin woman.
He washed feet and taught through stories.
He was brutally beaten and murdered on a cross, only to rise again 3 days later never to die again.
His ministry only lasted 3 years but the impact is still growing over 2000 years later
