Fitness Friday

To start off my very first Fitness Friday I decided to give you some of my favorite no equipment exercises when I just want to get moving.

  • Burpees – burpees are a great full body exercise that gets your heart rate up quickly.
  • Running – as a former track athlete running has been one of my favorite forms of exercise.
  • Squats – it’s a movement we do daily but hardly notice
  • Calf raises – you can literally do them anywhere
  • Squat jumps – a lower body burner that gets your heart rate up
  • Jump rope raises your heart rate and makes you feel like a little kid again, also Rocky vibes (cues Rocky soundtrack)
  • Push up – classic and uncomplicated

**Make sure you warm up before you attempt any of these exercises and of you have any underlying conditions check with your doctor before starting any exercise programs.**
