I have been trying to write on a more consistent schedule and although it is Wednesday I feel like I am behind schedule.
I know that I’m not and I’m putting pressure on myself unnecessarily it’s how I feel.
When I woke up this morning I knew that I had to publish a blog today but I didn’t know what to write. While I was watching a sermon on YouTube it made me think of a song and that song led to another and another. Before I let myself get distracted by music as I often do I listened to Just as Sure by Tori Kelly feat Jonathan Mcreynolds (seriously hiding place might just be the soundtrack of this chapter of my life) and the entire song just really ministered to my spirit.
In the second verse…where Jonathan Mcreynolds is singing and he says “no matter how I feel, now I live by what I know…” I had to repeat the song just for that line. It was so clear and so on time.
God knew that I needed to hear that. To remember what He has already said to me and that although I’ve grown I am still in the process of becoming all He has called me to be. I can not live by my feelings.
So, instead of tearing myself apart over what to write or anything I may not have done right I will just keep moving forward. I will use what I have in my hands and let God speak to me and through me as He sees fit.
