This post won’t be long.
I know sometimes it feels like your vote won’t count but I assure you that is not true. If it were, there wouldn’t be so much happening to prevent us from voting and there wouldn’t be so much rhetoric geared toward undermining the voting process. So go out and make sure to take this opportunity to make your voice heard. For so many here in this country this opportunity wasn’t always afforded to us. People of color had to work hard to get this right. The very least I can do to say thank you to my ancestors and those who fought to give me this right is to exercise it. So I will. As often as I can and in the best way I know how.
